In 1995, a company originally named Baktrans was established by Bakioğlu Holding to handle the transfer of products produced by its export-oriented operations. Over time, the company expanded its scope by incorporating VIP aviation into its activities. Recognizing that keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology required effective communication, the company merged in December 2016 with Baknet İletişim ve Bilgisayar Ürünleri Pazarlama Sanayi A.Ş., which had been founded in 2000. Following the merger, the combined entity continued its operations under the name Baknet, engaging in both the IT and VIP aviation sectors.
Today, Baknet A.Ş. leads the information technologies and digital transformation processes of Bakioğlu Holding and Group Companies and undertakes strategic digital transformation activities in line with the Group's digital roadmap.
