Sustainable Production: As Bakioğlu Group, we encourage Group Companies to meet their energy needs from renewable sources. In this regard, we ensure that Bakioğlu Holding and Packaging Group Companies make investments to meet their electricity needs from solar energy and that the electricity we purchase is supplied from service energy and emission management providers that produce electricity with renewable resources holding the "I-REC International Renewable Energy Certificate Standard (IRECS)" certificate. The solar energy production systems that we commissioned in 2021 are operating at the Bareks PE Facility, one of our Packaging Group Companies. Additionally, rooftop solar power plant (SPP) installations located within Polibak, one of our Packaging Group companies, as well as the SPP facility situated in Salihli, Manisa, are currently generating electricity. The combined annual production capacity of these two Polibak-owned plants is projected to meet approximately 16.27% of Polibak’s total electricity consumption. |
